By now you’ve heard about - and probably used a few - artificial intelligence (AI) applications that can make life easier, automate mundane tasks, and create efficiencies. But do you really know how AI works?
In 2024, Scarborough School District assembled a team of staff and students to learn about AI from the ground up, building an internal LLM and working with various departments to develop specific tools and solutions. Join us as members from this group present an overview of the project from conception to implementation. In this session, we’ll discuss the initial goals, technical requirements, deliverables, milestones, and the collaborative approach taken by the team to identify and develop use cases for the internal AI platform.
